Friuli, Gemona (1976)
This large-format artwork is inspired by a news report: the earthquake that hit the city of Gemona, in Friuli, in 1976. The ruins used for the assemblage are the poetic expression of modernity capable of finding beauty even in tragedy because it transforms the scrap materials into new artistic opportunities.
